Ingredients:
- Four apples of your choice
- 3/4 cups of white OR brown sugar
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- Phyllo pastry dough (12cm x 30 cm) – store bought or homemade
Recipe:
- Thinly slice apples and cook them in a pan with a bit of water, sugar, and cinnamon until brown and the water evaporated. Let it cool.
- Roll out the phyllo pastry dough, place the apple mixture on the dough lengthwise and fold it over. It should be a cylinder shape.
- Place in the over for 30 minutes at 190°C/ 375°F, or until golden brown. Ideally serve warm. With vanilla ice cream is even better!
